Holiday Inn Hotel Port Of Miami-Downtown By Ihg, Miami

The hotel had a bit of a mixed experience. While the service was excellent for arranging trips and the location was ideal for tours and shopping, I faced some challenges with the room's condition like a lingering smell and leaks from the rain. The dining options were good, but additional parking fees impacted convenience.

I feel fortunate to have found and reserved a room at the YVE hotel, where I explained my situation, and I was more than lucky. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, offering plenty of room for four people and luggage for our upcoming cruise. Despite being overpriced for the quality of the room, it was still a nice stay overall.

I found the hotel's location perfect for reaching the cruise ports and enjoying great food and shopping options. The rooms, while a bit small and showing signs of wear, were adequate, and the ice machine noise outside was a downside. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but some services like dry cleaning were lacking. The dining was not particularly impressive and seemed overpriced, but the Singapore noodles were a good option. Overall, the hotel offered convenient access to nearby activities and shopping areas but lacked eco-friendliness.

The hotel had a nice view of Bayside but could certainly have done with a refurbishment. It offered amenities like a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer, although it felt downgraded without a price reduction.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location, ideal for cruisers and near attractions like Bayside. Though the room had a strange smell and lacked cleanliness, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The dining options were limited, and the facilities needed improvement.
